The focus of his practice is on divorce law, family law, property division, spousal and child support, criminal law (criminal defence), and personal injury law.
He has appeared as counsel before all levels of court in the Province of British Columbia including the B.C. Court of Appeal. He has conducted numerous judge-alone and judge and jury trials. He has also appeared as counsel before numerous administrative tribunals including the Immigration and Refugee Board, Worksafe B.C., and the BC Human Rights Tribunal.
He uses his experience in the areas of negotiation, mediation, and courtroom and tribunal advocacy to assist his clients in resolving their legal issues. He attempts to resolve matters “out-of-court”. However, if matters cannot be resolved out-of-court, he vigorously advocates his client’s interests in court.
